What are the goals of the conference?
Successful integration of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software in support of key business, operational, or mission related processes has become essential to creating and maintaining responsive systems that keep pace with technology advances. Few organizations can afford to duplicate the software available from the commercial marketplace.
The International Conference on COTS-Based Software Systems (ICCBSS) is the first conference series to focus on exchanging ideas about current best practices and promising research directions in creating and maintaining systems that incorporate COTS software products. It provides a forum in which researchers and practitioners from industry, government, and universities can gather to exchange ideas and results.
