Experience Presentations
Accounts of experiences in defining, acquiring, managing, creating and maintaining systems that incorporate COTS software products are desired. These presentations should be designed to allow others to learn about the problems encountered and how theywere overcome to meet the needs of the organization. To encourage submission of experience presentations, papers will not be required and the presentations will not be eligible for the Best Paper Award. Submitted proposals will be evaluated on the basis of the importance of the contribution and quality of the written and graphic expression. Summaries of the accepted experience presentations will be included in the conference proceedings, which will be published in the Springer-Verlag Lecture Notes in Computer Science series. No commercial or sales oriented presentations will be accepted.

Proposals for experience presentations must be in English and submitted electronically electronically through WitanWeb, our conference submission tool, by 11 July 2003. Proposals should consist of extended abstracts of at least 2 pages in length, along with draft slides for a 40 minute presentation. Draft slides should use PowerPoint 98 or above and use standard fonts.

Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection and will be provided reviewer comments by approximately 12 September 2003. Final presentation materials for final review and a limited abstract for inclusion in the proceedings must be submitted by 24 October 2003.

Submission of final accepted abstracts and presentation slides will be considered as permission to the organizers to print, and distribute them at the conference and permission to post the materials on the conference website.
