Donald J. Reifer is one of the leading figures in the field of software engineering and management with over 30 years of progressive experience in both industry and government. Mr. Reifer managed the DoD Software Initiatives Office under the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and Intergovernmental Personnel Act assignment with DISA. As part of this assignment, he also served as the Director of the DoD Software Reuse Initiative and Chief of the Ada Joint Program Office. Currently, as president of RCI, Mr. Reifer supports executives in many Fortune 500 firms who are looking to develop investment strategies and improve their software capabilities and capacity. Mr. Reifer also serves as the principal investigator on best software acquisition practices and information warfare efforts. He is also helping develop a variety of estimating models as a visiting associate on the University of Southern California COCOMO II team led by Dr. Barry Boehm. |
