  Neil Maiden is Professor of Systems Engineering and Head of the Center for Human-Computer Interface Design (www-hcid.soi.city.ac.uk), an independent research department in City University's School of Informatics. He received a PhD in Computer Science from City University in 1992. He is and has been a principal and co-investigator of several funded research projects. He is also founder and manager of City University's SAP R/3 Laboratory. His research interests include frameworks for requirements acquisition and negotiation, scenario-based systems development, requirements reuse, and more effective transfer of academic research results into software engineering practice.
