   Len Estrin is a Senior Technical Writer/Editor at the Software Engineering Institute (SEI). He has 25+ years experience in communications. Prior to joining the SEI, he operated the Forefront Communications Group. His clients included Lucent Technologies Corporation, ANSYS, Inc., and other technology based corporations.
Mr. Estrin also served as Senior Writer at the National Center for Excellence in Metalworking Technology, a U.S. Navy Manufacturing Technology program operated by Concurrent Technologies Corporation. Based on his work at the NCEMT, he was tasked by the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Acquisition and Logistics) to edit the National Defense Manufacturing Strategy Plan that the DOD submitted to Congress.
