Linda Brooks is the Sr. Manager of the East Coast branch of the Northrop Grumman (NG) Mission Systems Office of Cost Estimation (OCE). Her recent focus has been on the expansion of the NG Mission Systems historical data repository to include metrics to support both cost estimation and process improvement for the enterprise. A key area of expansion was the addition of metrics for Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) intensive system developments. Brooks has over 30 years of experience and developed and taught the Software Cost Estimation and COTS Integration portions of the organization’s core courses.
