Dr. Victor R. Basili is a professor of Computer Science at the University of Maryland, College Park; the Executive Director of the Fraunhofer Center Maryland; and one of the founders and principals in the Software Engineering Laboratory. He works on measuring, evaluating, and improving the software development process and products and has consulted for many organizations, including AT&T, Boeing, Daimler- Chrysler, Ericksson, FAA, GE, GTE, IBM, Lucent, MCC, Motorola, NRL, NSWC, and NASA. | |||||||||||||||||||
